Littered With Books ♥

2 months of wait, I thought I’ll never hear from them but… I did!

7 Countries & over 40 stores. And finally. I found my hardcover book at this little shop called Littered With Books at Duxton!

Every other store just told me they couldn’t order it anymore. This is the only store that offered to help me look for this book even though they knew it’s out of print.

The best thing is, I didn’t need to pay 200bucks for it on Amazon! :D

Thank you Littered With Books!

PS, I love Audrey Niffenegger!

Cakes! Cakes! Cakes!

Our long planned rendezvous, with cakes! @Flor Patisserie, and you probably already heard of it.

“FLOR Pâtisserie, Japanese-styled patisserie serving authentic Japanese inspired French pastry”

Looks yummy ya? and it is! Loved the mango pie and cheese tart.

If you’re at Duxton you should drop by! Make sure you go to the right one, it’s FLOR Patisserie. Their cakes are heavenly. It almost felt like I flew when I tasted the cheese tart! And I think I’m exaggerating and being very bias. o.o

PS, must try the mango pie and cheese tart!

Lastly, terrible tasting tea. Sorry I hate tea! But I didn’t have a choice.

We spent some time exploring duxton area after satisfying ourselves with those fluffy sugary creamy cakes, and found this cool looking book store.

There were these post cards thingy floating around the room, and I thought, I should do this to my room too! But instead of retro looking random stuff. I’ll have floating flowery, ribbony, lacey vintage stuff!

..and that moment of happy thoughts instantly ended when I remembered that my room has false ceilings and my mum being very wary of the ceiling would probably be very displeased if anything happened to the stupid fragile why-did-the-previous-owner-make-these-false-ceilings-anyway-and-oh-don’t-get-me-started-on-the-fugly-retarded-floors.

I like going book stores when I’m alone for some alone time. But Von and book stores, she gets really attracted to them and it’s not like she likes reading.. I think? She just plainly gets attracted to it! Haha!

See her happy face just pretending to touch those shelves like as if shes gonna even read them! Keke ;p

After that we headed to VivoCity to get my ‘box’ bag from tangs and luckily it’s still there, even though my sis bought it like afew months ago. I bought 2 of the same color/bag, thought sis wanted the brown one too, but she ended up not wanting it anyway cause it’s the wrong brown one. So now I’m stuck with an extra box-bag. Luckily it was only $19.90 :(

Anyway after that, we when on a.. I don’t know? Consulting session for Von? Haha I make myself sound like some expert. We when to every shop and I made her try every possible dress I thought would look good on her. After that giving her some kinda pep talk too? Haha. And I think my pep talking worked a little! I’m so proud of myself! Haha!

We bought the same pair of shorts. I finally found the perfect fitting shorts! Who said fat girls with fat thighs can’t wear denim shorts! >.< I refute that!

We bought the same pair of shoes too! But in different colors, I took beige and she when for dark blue. :)

I actually bought more stuff, jumper from Forever 21 and some other random tops.

Shorts from Zara – $79.90
Bag from Tangs – $19.90
Shoes from Tangs – $29.90

We ended our day after realizing we were gonna miss the last train. Omg, shopping really makes you forget the time!

It’s the little things that makes you smile♥

Brought Dada out for cakes!

Honestly, not as good as I expected it to be. It’s nice, but I don’t think I’ll travel an hour again just for it.
I love the mango cheese cake though! (:

Surprisingly, the owner of the shop was from At-Sunrice too. Sunrice has created many talents. Omg, if only I when Sunrice back then instead of Shatec. I would have been happily graduated. Maybe I’ve already fulfill my wish of opening a chocolate shop. Sad life. PS, If you are thinking of taking pastry or culinary, DO NOT GO TO SHATEC. Sunrice is the way to go! And this is coming from a previous-shatec-leaver-and-happy-that-she-did-student. (:

Ohya, saw this cute cake design at the window display. And Dada promised to make me something like it on my next birthday, plus edible teddy bears! I know this year I’ll finally have a complete birthday. I love you Dada. (:
